Samuel E. Dey Jr., M.D., M.B.A.

Dr. Dey is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in General Psychiatry and possesses certification for Added Qualifications in Geriatric Psychiatry.

When Dr. Dey opened the Dogon Behavioral Medical Group, Inc., he did it to help the underserved. Numerous ethnic populations do not receive the treatment they need, so Dr. Dey places an emphasis in this area. In addition to treating well-insured clients, Dogon offers sliding scale fees to clients who lack insurance coverage.

Dr. Dey has a special place in his heart for the elderly. Because the elderly in America become isolated from their families as they move into retirement communities, nursing homes and assisted-living facilities, they are more prone to feelings of depression and abandonment.
